Hi Sir, Thank you for the approval in to this forum. I'm a keyboard player. I've been playing from 13 years. Currently I'm using Yamaha psr-s970 keyboard. I use fl studio to create tracks and for music arrangements. I'm able to play the tracks created using fl studio into my keyboard by exporting as midi fille. I can also revoice the 16 midi channels and can apply dsp effects. But I don't know how to on dsp effects for some channels and dsp of to some channels. If I on the dsp for one channel the dsp will be on for all the channels. Kindly help me in this issue. Regards, Jason

First of all, a very warm welcome to the forum. I'll have to get hold of the manual for the S970 before I can tackle this question, and spend a little time reading it. So be patient and I'll come back to you as quickly as I can. I don't have, and have never used Fruity Loops, so I won't be able to answer specifically, but I should be able to point you in the right direction. My speciality is the MIDI code itself. Meanwhile, let me point you to another really good forum, very friendly, which is specifically about Yamaha PSR and Tyros keyboards. The answer may already be there. It's here: www.psrtutorial.com/forum/index.php and called the PSR Tutorial Forum. You'll need to join (free) to get full access, but you'll find PSR S970 owners there, and many of them. If you do find the answer, could you come back and let me know, please? Kind regards, JohnG.

Hi, The PSR-S970 manual states that DSP/effects should be selectable for the currently selected part. The manual doesn't go on to describe this in a very detailed way, but I've noticed that the PSR has a Mixing Console panel/menu (the MIXER/EQ button, explained on p. 95). Within that panel, you'll find an Effect tab, where effect settings for each part can be edited individually. The Mixing Console settings can hopefully then be saved to your MIDI file/song. Please let us know if this doesn't work, or if more information is needed! Regards, - H -
